All youth and high school practices/games will be suspended through at least March 31. Lincoln Lacrosse Board will meet on 3/17th to discuss the direction of the program this spring and work with the information that is provided to us by the state, PPS and the CDC. The Lincoln Lacrosse Club will follow the guidelines that these associations mandate and update our community as soon as the information is available.
May tournaments, including SALI, are currently continuing as planned. Updates will be shared as they are known.
Registration for our 2020 Spring Youth Boys Lacrosse Teams is now open. We will have teams at Grades 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8. Season kicks off on 3/2nd.
Register before January 31st to take advantage of early-bird pricing!
For details on each team, please go to our Youth Spring Team page
Please note that there is a new safety standard taking effect in 2021 to goalie chest protectors and player shoulder pads - specifically new NOCSAE performance standard ND200 to help address commotio cordis.
Maverik is one of the few manufacturers that is offering this new standard in their gear for youth, high school and college players now.
As you consider buying new gear for your player, please consider skipping to this new standard ahead of 2021 (goalies) and all other players (2022).
Here is a link discussing the standard: https://www.uslacrosse.org/blog/us-lacrosse-approves-rule-change-to-enhance-heart-protection-for-athletes
We have a discount program through Lax.com (email us for code here) if you are interested in these new pads (please note the Youth sizes tend to run a bit small).
